Benefit Eligibility
Hourly employees are eligible for Xanterra benefits on the first of the month following their first 60 days of employment.
Salaried employees are eligible for Xanterra benefits on the first of the month following their hire date. If hired on the first of the month, employees are eligible for benefits the first of the following month.
Eligible Dependents include:
- Legal spouse (including same or opposite sex)
- Dependent children up to age 26 (natural born, stepchildren, foster, adopted)
- Dependent children over age 26 who are medically certified as disabled
CORE Status
All the benefits of a "9 to 5" – without the "9 to 5"
An employee who works seasonally or intermittently can earn CORE Status Benefit Eligibility and be considered a full-time employee with full benefits – all while continuing to work seasonally. To earn CORE Status, seasonal employees must work at least 1,560 hours during a defined 12 months without a break in service of 13 consecutive weeks.
